A Quick Overview—’In a Nutshell’
We know you’re busy, so here it is in a nutshell. A new technology has been developed that may change the way we heal, fight disease and stay healthy. BodySound’s technology and accompanying therapy (Spectral Infusion Therapy, or SIT) provides two distinct benefits: it stimulates important biologic processes in healing, and it induces the central nervous system to place the body in its optimal healing state, medically referred to as the Relaxation Response (RR). The relaxation response to SIT is easily achieved relative to other methods, and the list of health issues the RR addresses is significant: high blood pressure (which elevates risk for heart attack and stroke), chronic pain syndrome, insomnia, Alzheimer’s disease, autoimmune diseases, Type 2 diabetes, obesity and even cancer. The state achieved with SIT requires new thinking about how we heal, stay healthy and achieve a higher level of well-being. SIT is delivered by a network of acoustic drivers in a resonant framing system designed to infuse the entire body with very specific audio and vibratory frequencies. The user lies or sits on comfortable cushioning while the spectrum of frequencies is delivered. The experience is very pleasant, and feels like a gentle massage where the sensations coincide with the audio frequencies. As SIT’s capabilities began to emerge, our task was to configure it to fit easily into the home so the benefits can be made broadly available. Our solution was to integrate the system into seating designed for the home. This way, it can easily fit into any home’s floor plan as well as fit into most lifestyles and routines. To enhance experience as well as value, we added speakers to complement the existing near-field acoustic effect of the technology to create a personal surround sound experience, so the seats can be used for leisure as well (improves the audio experience for music, watching TV or movies). We hope you are intrigued by this innovation, which can make you a healthier and happier person. We welcome your call or email should you have questions or like to discuss the technology with the Minneapolis team.
